Beauty Tip Of The Month

How do I keep eye makeup from fading, smudging or disappearing altogether?

Some people will tell you that this problem boils down to the fact that you have oily skin. That's not entirely true, but there are simple solutions. Apply makeup primer to your eyes before the actual eye colour. This adds a thin film over the eye lid to hold makeup in place. Always use a makeup brush instead of your fingers to apply your shadow as fingers have natural oils that can transfer to your lids and speed up the fading process. Once you’ve applied your eyeliner, go over it again with a liner brush dipped in an eye shadow of the same colour or in translucent powder - this extra powder should keep the makeup colours from being exposed and fading faster. Finally, keep some blotting papers handy so you can dab away pesky oils that makes makeup smudge. < professional Make-Up @ $50 ! >
